Starting with a careful analysis of the Stony Point Center (SPC) client base, Anissa wrote a detailed marketing strategy that was nuanced in its ability to target micro-markets that made the most sense for our business. She made it easy for us to break seemingly overwhelming marketing goals into a clear strategy with concrete and measurable tasks.

Anissa came into a complicated organization with several dozen members of SPC staff and volunteers who needed to feel ownership in marketing and communication objectives. Within six months, she mastered the organizational culture, built personal rapport with key stakeholders, and conducted a series of workshops to sharpen our shared understanding of our mission and our ability to effectively communicate that mission to others.

When the pandemic took hold and upended our business, Anissa quickly shifted gears to develop a new communications strategy that was responsive to the crisis.

Anissa is a consummate and energetic professional whom I had the pleasure of working with for over a year at the Chamber of Commerce. In her role as Director of Marketing & Membership, she developed and executed strategic outreach to business owners as well as critical membership drives. Her tireless community-building approach translated well from personal outreach to the successful development of a targeted, stylishly written, online newsletter for the membership. She's an articulate, engaging woman with keen marketing sense!

After careful analysis, Anissa brought together a diverse group of stakeholders for highly effective workshops to communicate insight and understanding of our brand and develop more succinct messaging. Before Anissa's arrival, each team had their take on how to describe and inform what was taking place at the Conference Center. Anissa's confidence in her craft brought along factions who were entrenched in their biased interpretation of the organization. The outcome was clear, bold, on-target messaging.

The segments that enjoyed our conference center were separate and discreet. This overwhelmed our team before Anissa's arrival as Director of Marketing and Communications. Using a meticulous data-driven strategy, Anissa developed messaging for each audience that was distinct and appropriate. Her style and skill brought structure, clarity and direction.

The team charged with designing, producing, disseminating written and web-based materials, implementing unprecedented and innovative communication strategies complementary to the work of fundraising staff and an extensive network of volunteers and campaign stakeholders to generate revenue directed to the campaign. Efforts that resulted in raising significant revenue at the eight-figure level

Anissa is goal-oriented, strives for excellence in performing her work tasks, and also has a heart and passion for service.
